DUX Machinery Corporation designs and manufactures underground mining equipment for major mining and tunneling companies worldwide. DUX has openings for talented people to join our team. We have presently the following open positions:
Mechanical Assemblers
The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for:
- Assembling and installing mechanical components and hydraulic control systems
- Assisting electrical assembler with installation of control panels for diesel motor driven trucks and Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV)
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required; Cégep diploma or specialized training preferred
- +3 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment repair and manufacturing preferred
Mechanical / Electrical Engineer
The Mechanical / Electrical Engineer will be responsible for:
- Design and development of Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) from concept to production
- Editing existing diesel driven models and completing new ones using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering
- +3 years of experience in Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) or related field required
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills required (English, French and
Spanish is an asset)
